FRIEND's programs reduce poverty by empowering communities and creating employment that provides a sustainable income.
This program facilitates development with interested communities by assisting them identify their collective needs, resources and strengths using participatory methods. The process attempts to maximize community participation and ownership of their development dreams. Community members receive assistance and support in making their plans and execution of these through group discussions, training programs, networking and developing linkages with other stakehoders.
