Tamarind Chutney was one of the first trial products that was undertaken by Ba Senior Citizens Centre under the leadership of Late Satya Bali. After being a trial product for about 8 months, Tamarind Chutney was launched in 2003. This product has been able to make its mark in the market and is one of the most popular and fast moving products. The proceeds from the sales of this product go towards Ba Senior Citizens Centre which serves more than 600 senior for the Ba communities. Tamarind Chutney is made by ladies from the Ba communities who are able to earn an income for their needy families. With the hard work and dedication of our sales and marketing team, Tamarind Chutney is now available in most of the supermarkets, monthly ROC markets, FRIEND Suva Shop and Duty free outlets in 200g and 400g jars.
