Available in 200g and 400g sizes Friend's Fiji Style ® Sweet Mango Chutney was launched in 2005. Having a sweet and spicy taste, this product is made from a traditional Indian recipe and a popular accompaniment to meals and dips to savouries. Mangoes for the production of this product are bought from farmers from Ba and Lautoka and this project is carried by ladies from a rural community outside Lautoka. Sweet mango chutney production is in the mango season of September to January and production is done at a scale that would provide stock that will last till the next mango season. Even though being launched almost two years after Friend's Fiji Style ® Tamarind chutney, Sweet Mango Chutney rivals the popularity of tamarind chutney.
